Tomatoes are probably my favorite thing to grow. For a southern boy, that first tomato signals the beginning of summer. I like to grow mine from seeds, so gardening for me begins in the middle of February. You want to give the seedlings time to grow inside for at least six weeks before planting them outside once the danger of frost has passed.
