This website is a place where I will share my experiences with gardening. Both of my grandfathers were farmers in rural Georgia in an area known by the locals as Dutchtown. Dutchtown has become more suburban, and most of the farms have yielded to subdivisions and strip malls, but there are still backyard gardens in the area. When I was young, I didn’t fully appreciate the wealth of knowledge around me. But I obtained some of it through osmosis, and some I have learned the hard way. I hope to help others learn the easy way.
